Suitable from birth, it offers seven main carrying positions and is easily adjusted. The obvious difference when compared to most other ‘shoulder slings’ is the extra thick, and generously wide strap. It means that there is better weight distribution through the strapping ensuring your comfort, and it allows you to position the strap at various points on your shoulder.
The padded side ‘rails’ keep your baby more comfortable too in the various carrying positions.
The Baba Sling is made from Fair-Trade machine washable cotton so it’s supremely practical and easy to care for. There are some great colours to choose from so you can have some fun without having to have any sort of print that needs ‘coordinating’ with. The efficient use of fabric means it packs up into its own small tote bag so it’s convenient to take with you wherever you’re going.
THE LOW-DOWN
How comfortable? Surprisingly comfortable – the thick, well-padded
shoulder strap distributes weight well (even heavy toddlers!) and can
be positioned at the most comfortable point on your shoulder
Defining Features? Mostly, it’s just simple (which doesn’t often happen
with carriers/slings! The unique buckle at the back allows you to
remove the sling very easily without disturbing a sleeping baby and
provides peace of mind when compared to some ring and knotted slings.
Also the superbly padded shoulder strap and ease of adjustment for the
various carrying positions make carrying more pleasurable
Upsides – Can be used from birth right up to approx 2 + years
comfortably – you and your baby are in charge here. It’s a great option
for easy breastfeeding on the go and for a family that wants to give
serious baby-wearing a shot
Downsides – We’re not a nation of baby-wearers, so slings in general
will require some practice to ensure confidence – this would have to be
one of the easiest ones to get your head around though

Totally disagree with the last comment this is an excellent product. My daughter is just over one and I have been carrying her in this sling for months. The most comfortable position for us now that she is older is on my hip and the sling distributes the weight perfectly stopping me pushing my hip to the side to balance the weight and hurting my back. It is perfect for when you cant be bothered to unload the buggee from the car but need both hands free for a few minutes - like popping into the shop or post office. Really dont know how I managed wi thout it. Recommened it to many friends who are also really happy with it.
