The “Isofix” base locks on to the connectors in the car and the Cosy Tot in turn fits on to the base. Britax have designed a Foot Prop for extra stability. As the Car Seat clips on and off of the base easily, you will not need to remove the base until you require the seat in the car for another passenger.

The “Isofix” fixing system will ultimately ensure that the seat is always correctly fitted taking another area of worry away from the parent. Bear in mind that it is still necessary to check the Britax website for compatibility. The Cosy Tot can also be used in the “traditional” way without the “Isofix” fittings by using the seat belt.

However, at the moment for what seem to be political reasons, this seat has ‘semi-universal’ approval as an Isofix seat. You must therefore use the ‘Fit-finder’ section on the Britax website to confirm compatibility with your vehicle.

The Cosy Tot Premium has the Britax Adjusta-fit System which ensures that the head rest and shoulder straps are adjusted in tandem to the correct position. The carry handle has been ergonomically designed for ease of carrying, although carrying the Rock-a-Tot with its more conventional handle can be more comfortable.

As with the Rock-a-Tot, the Cosy Tot Premium has a “One Pull” harness to tighten the straps once the harness is fitted.

The package includes the integral head support and the Sun/Wind Canopy. As with all seats in this group it must be fitted rearward facing. 

Whichever way you intend to fit the Cosy Tot Premium Isofix check the “Fit-Finder” on the Britax Website at www.britax.co.uk  As with all car seats, always confirm correct fitting and compatibility with a trained Nursery retailer or Road Safety Officer.

The Cosy Tot is a Group 0+ seat which means that it is suitable from birth -13 kilos – aprox from birth – 12/15 months.

It is available in a range of colours and will combine with most of the Britax range of Travel Systems.
