I had premature twins and was a first time mother. The sympathy I received when my boys were screaming and I couldn't cope was pitiful. I was left to figure things out for myself and made to feel incompetent by the staff on ward 2. I'd had an epidural and felt incredibly unwell but despite my numerous requests to see a doctor no one came until the very last day of my stay because I made an official complaint. In the end I discharged myself as I felt I would receive more help and care at home. Huge disappointment, not recommended.

I had elective c section. Everyone especially my consultant were fantastic. I cannot thank them enough for the care received.

baby was diagnosed with a serious heart defect which their cardiac scans picked up after i was referred here by my local hospital.staff were very sympathetic and explained our options clearly and as sensitivley as possible.the midwife who delivered our son was fantastic she stayed with me the whole time reassuring me etc and even held my hand when i was stitched after a third degree tear.nothing was too much trouble for the staff they even arranged a return taxi to see my son for free as he was transferred to the childrens hospital and i had to stop here but by providing the free transport made me feel better about a distressing situation.
