Lynda Leach

Lynda has been a Midwife in London for many years.  She has worked on the Lindo Wing at St Mary’s and she is currently employed on a part-time basis at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth, where she runs in-house antenatal classes and breastfeeding workshops.  Since 2003, she has been running her own antenatal classes for women and their partners.

She is experienced in all aspects of midwifery and is qualified to teach aquanatal classes and baby massage.  Lynda is also trained in Indian head massage and shiatsu for pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period.  She has a particular interest and expertise in breastfeeding support and is a certified Lactation Consultant.

Why should you attend antenatal classes?

Classes enable women and their partners to receive information about the childbirth process. Although some people wish to know more than others, most are seeking balanced, honest and realistic information about labour and birth so they have an idea of what to expect and, where choices arise, can make properly informed decisions.
